Fortnite Announces Reload LAN, $1 Million Mobile Cup and More for FNCS 2026

If you thought Fortnite’s 2025 competitive season was wild, wait until you hear what’s cooking for 2026. Fortnite has dropped a whole bag of surprises at the FNCS Global Championship 2025, and honestly, it feels like they’re turning the competitive scene into a year-long party.

What kept everyone excited was the wait for Epic’s big announcement. Right before the final game, Epic revealed the news, and it thrilled both fans in the stadium and on social media.

FNCS 2026: What’s New?

Fortnite has announced the FNCS 2026 competitive season, which will return to the fan-favorite Duos format for both the Majors and the Global Championship, starting in summer 2026.

After the insane energy from French fans at the 2025 Global Championship in Lyon, Epic is bringing back a Mid-Season FNCS LAN in Europe for 2026. Yes, it’s true, FNCS is coming back to Europe for LAN events, after the incredible response from French fans this year.

However, one of the biggest highlights is the launch of the Reload Elite Series LAN. Details about the qualifying rounds will be shared in the coming days. As you all know, Fortnite returned to iOS this year with the new Blitz mode. To celebrate, a special $1 Million Mobile Series will be held, giving mobile players a chance to compete for the big prize.

Epic is also developing an enhanced version of Ranked mode, called Ranked 2.0, which will introduce a new ranking system and gameplay changes that will reshape FNCS 2026. And to top it all off, the highly anticipated Pro-Am tournament is back, where popular creators will compete for the top prize.”

As someone who’s been following Fortnite competitive since the World Cup, I can honestly say this feels new and exciting. It’s not just the same FNCS — it’s FNCS with fresh formats, more variety, and a global touch.
